The Aboriginal Literacy Foundation has been overwhelmed by the support we have received this year for our Books for Learning program. Many schools, groups and individuals have held an array of events to collect funds and books for our organisation.

One such school is Pymble Ladies’ College in New South Wales, who ran a very successful book drive which resulted in a donation of 2153 books to our Books for Learning program.

The school is proud to have a number of Indigenous scholars across years 7-12. Biama, a Year 12 student from the Torres Strait initiated the project, which was embraced by the entire school.

Thank you to Biama, and all the students and staff involved in the success of the book drive!
